The first day of school!
Appropriately enough the first blog I post here is reminiscing the first day of classes we had at VJTI as a class. Twas a rainy day in early october.. yeah u remember how we had to agonizingly wait for the admissions to get over or actually start was it? After all that dillydallying, we finally could not wait for classes to start. Oh how soon that bubble of expectancy was to burst. We had an extended M.B. Shah lecture on engineering drawing and lines (thick and thin). Oddly enough that is all I remember of the first day. I do remember bumping into a coupld of seniors and haggling over the prices of books and notes that they had to offer.
So this was just to get started, get the juices flowing, waking up the little "Willy" in all of us, starting a debate, hitting up a note, boiling up the kettle. We can treat this as a blackboard to blog on the unfinished business from VJTI, discussions we left incomplete or new topics that you think can be debated on this social forum. We have all come a long way in life, learnt new things, made new friendships, bonds. We can share some of our experiences along the way to help others cope with theirs. Be it some new interesting reads or movie reviews, or maybe just a link to your own personal blog if you have any, let it all out.

I dont know about the first day, but some ramblings aboutthis day (or thereabouts) 10 years back.... We would have finished our 5th sem, and begun our 6th. Dunno about the rest of you, but one thing I remember was that we were allotted electives based on 5th sem results..and for some strange reason Mantha's CAD / CAM was the 'in' thing....wasnt it because of the fact that he never required attendance??? Anyway, I was so overjoyed to get the last seat.... Now I wonder why???
Anyway, more ramblings some other time....Keep writing guys.

I dont remember the first day, but I do remember my first workshop day, we all wearing the boiler suits and standing in line with files in hand,
just to think back, its 12.5 years since we first stepped into VJTI.... and i think Feb was the month for the dreaded ASOM results.

in the 14th year now, since we all met...but still memories dont fade...4 special years!..the weirdest moment was really the 8th sem CAD viva...cant still get over the chaos ..we created... gotya/shiju/me..pretext of going to manali forced our way to get viva done week before its schedule ..only then to realise that CAD CAM ka C bhi maloom nahin tha...(interestingly this was within half hour of writing our final univ paper)....phat gayi thi bhidu....poora manali tension main nikala!!
